About Matt

Matt Sucich is a native New Yorker and it shows in his songwriting. His lyrics are witty and charming, but they also reveal the often dark struggles of overcoming your own inhibitions. The Wild Honey Pie writes: "Warmly-textured melodies and carefully crafted ballads. His skillful lyricism is ushered forth by a blanket of sound that features the clanging guitars of early country-influenced rock (think The Byrds)."
